General Magnetic Bracelet Care Instructions
To get years of enjoyment and therapy from your magnetic products, you should remove them before showering, bathing, swimming, or washing your hands. Chlorine or salt water may damage your magnetic bracelet. Do not use any sort of jewelry cleaner or jewelry cleaning machine.
To clean your magnetic product, wash it by hand in a mild soap solution, then simply rinse and air dry.
For all jewelry with a magnetic clasp, do not pull apart when removing - instead, gently slide it off. This way, damage to the magnetic jewelry item will be avoided.
Bracelet Care and Maintenance of Sergio Lub Bracelets
Your bracelet can easily be refurbished if the finish begins to show wear. We use only solid (not plated) metals. Therefore, discoloration or blemishes caused by body acids, epidermal oils or perspiration can be removed to restore your bracelets beauty.
Sergio's bracelets are finished with an organic lacquer to preserve their luster. To remove smudges and fingerprints simply wipe your bracelet with a soft cloth. For a more thorough cleaning, use isopropyl alcohol or wear it when you shower. The lacquer may eventually wear away. This could take days or years depending on the wearer's body chemistry and how often the bracelet is worn. First, remove the original finish with a cotton ball nail polish remover with acetone. In the case of non-magnetic bracelets, you may soak the entire piece for 1 1/2 hours.
If a soft patina look is preferred, your bracelet is ready to wear after completing these first two steps. If you wish to preserve the shine:
- Wipe dry with soft cloth. Shine bracelet with sunshine cloth or jeweler cloth.
- Then apply a good quality CLEAR GLOSS lacquer and let it dry.
A high quality clear nail polish lacquer will work as well.
Your bracelet is guaranteed for one year from date of purchase against breakage. Following this simple maintenance procedure as needed to insure your bracelet provides you with years of pleasure.
